Silky Professional Series PocketBoy Folding Saw

The Silky POCKETBOY is a compact and lightweight folding saw with a 6-3/4-inch blade that takes up minimal space in your pocket or backpack. This saw is affectionately nicknamed "Little Giant" due to its extraordinary cutting capacity.

The blade of the POCKETBOY features a rust-resistant, hard chrome-plated, taper-ground design with an impulse-hardened, non-set tooth structure for enhanced cutting efficiency. Utilizing Silky's proprietary MIRAI-ME (Smooth Cutting) Technology, the precision-ground, razor-sharp teeth provide fast, clean, and smooth cutting performance.

The blade can be locked securely into one of two open positions - in line with the handle or flush cutting. This versatility allows the user to adapt the saw to the specific cutting task at hand. The blade is also resistant to the effects of tree resin and can be easily wiped clean.

The POCKETBOY's handles are made of red aluminum with a Gum non-slip rubberized overlay, offering a secure and comfortable grip even in the most challenging operating conditions.

For convenience, the saw comes with an embossed clear composition flip-top storage case with a metal belt loop, allowing for easy transport and storage. A lanyard hole is also provided.

The POCKETBOY is an ideal saw for a wide range of applications, including pruning, arborist work, outdoor hunting, woodworking, lawn and garden maintenance, and bamboo cutting, among others.

The POCKETBOY is available in two blade lengths: 5-inch (130 mm) and 6-3/4-inch (170 mm). The blades are interchangeable within the same blade length. Each blade length is offered in four different teeth sizes/configurations: 7 tpi (large/coarse for pruning and green wood), 8.5 tpi (medium for soft wood), 17 tpi (fine for hard wood and bamboo), and 22 tpi (extra fine for dry hard wood). The handle color corresponds to the teeth configuration: red for large teeth, black for medium teeth, yellow for fine teeth, and purple for extra fine teeth.

It's important to note that users should beware of thinner, non-professional blades made for the Japanese market only. If the blade does not have the word "Professional" etched on it, customers are advised to report the seller to Amazon.
